The Loneliness Epidemic

In this episode I discuss how loneliness and isolation leads to quiet desperation, depression and despair.  I discuss the importance of vulnerability and reaching out for support.  Men are most susceptible to isolation and lack of social support.  Through my men's discipleship programs and men's retreats it creates opportunity for community and a place for men to be vulnerable and supported.

In RUN THE RACE, two desperate brothers sacrifice today for a better tomorrow.

Reeling from his mother’s death and his father’s abandonment, Zach, an All-State athlete, finds glory on the football field, working to earn a college scholarship and the brothers’ ticket out of town.

When a devastating injury puts Zach—and his dreams—on the sidelines, David laces up his track cleats to salvage their future and point Zach toward hope.

In theaters February 22nd, RUN THE RACE shows what’s possible when you run to—instead of from—the overwhelming love of God.

Check out the latest issue of Faith & Fitness Magazine to learn more about the movie RUN THE RACE.

A Love so Mighty: A True Story of God's Transforming Presence

ALoveSoMighty.jpg

In this episode I interview Erinn J. Campton.  She is the author of the newly released book "A Love so Mighty:  A true Story of God's Transforming Presence.  Erinn has written elaborate tales since the first time her mother handed her a crayon. She walked with Jesus even before then and could not imagine a life apart from Him. Her best days are spent in a cuddle pile with a little boy and three semi-naughty canines while her soulmate is nearby tinkering in his garage. Born and raised in Northern Colorado, she is closest to our Lord when sitting on a mountain beside a river with a cup of coffee in one hand and a book in the other.

Increase Your Energy and Change the World

The Man in the Arena (Getting his Butt Kicked a Little)

In this podcast I talk about my recent experiences of getting my butt kicked while getting in the arena.  My fear of failure and fear of truly being seen.

The classic quote from Theodore Roosevelt challenges us to dare greatly to get in the arena while embracing risk and failure.

God asks us to take great risks for Him.  Moses didn't feel he was qualified to fulfill the mission God asked him to do, just as I don't feel qualified for the mission God is asking me to do.  But in my weakness, God's strength will shine through.
